More than a entire year has passed since the project The Fashion Fraction Collection, a capsule collection for Metro Boutique, started. When people ask me what really fascinates me about fashion – in the eyes of many people, fashion is just clothing and clothing is just a means to an end, not to go around the world completely naked and to keep yourself warm, a means to an end as well – oh, I’m sorry I went off toptic. Maybe because I’m getting bored with that question and have answered it dozens of times and, what is more, probably always with the same description, more or less: To me fashion is like a big playground where you can try new things every single day. It is like a toy with which you can reinvent yourself every day and with which you can express your mood, even your attitude (sexual, cultural, political,…) and much more. And sometimes fashion fascinates me in a very special way, namely when it is innovative!

Hell yeah, the festival season in Switzerland and probably in many other countries, has started and I oh-so-am so ready! Outfitwise since a while already, as you might have already seen in this video, but now also in terms of hairstyling, although my new, short hair challenged me quite a bit.

Easter is coming closer and with it, at least for me, also the official beginning of spring. It’s the time of year when I start to bloom almost as much as the flowers, bushes and trees outside and feel a great desire to redecorate the apartment and be creative in general. With these three ideas for selfmade wall art, every room looks pretty. Doesn’t it? Also, They are very easy and quick to imitate.

Since almost a year I am completely self-employed as a blogger/instagrammer but also as a freelance graphic designer/art director–you may have noticed this. But what you may not know is that for the first six months I rented an office in Zurich, simply because I was afraid to work from home. Home office phobia I’d say. I was worried that I was not productive enough, that I slept too long and that I didn’t have the right equipment. And that’s just a small excerpt from the many thoughts I had right before I became self-employed, which motivated me to take an office. To make a long story short: I was there only about six times in half a year.

10+ appointments a day while using every 5 minutes break to try catching an Instagram appropriate picture. That’s how I’d summ up fashion week in one sentence. But this London Fashion Week was different. I went with my beloved Dyson family and decided to make it less stressful aka. more enjoyable for once. So we started our first LFW day with an appointment at London star stylist Larry King. Well, actually we first had an extensive breakfast at the hotel – attention, random info for foodies: there’s a fantastic Birchermuesli at the Intercontinental Park Lane hotel – already shot a first picture for the gram and answered the most urgent emails. Whoopsie. I went off the topic (again). Back to Larry Kings salon.

I love colors. Yes, I really do – but normally not so much in my face. But well, you know, there are exceptions. I mean, don’t we girls have exceptions for pretty much everything anyway? So this color-in-my-face-exception is basically for long nights out with girlfriends when the getting-ready-part is actually one of the most important parts of the actual night out. Meanwhile, in my mid-twenties, those nights got a little bit rarer indeed, but there’s one to which we will stick to forever: New Year’s Eve. So I didn’t want to withhold my bold eye make for the upcoming New Year’s eve. Who knows, maybe there’s someone else who likes to try something new for the new year.

Finally it is my favorite time of the year again – Christmas season. But that also means a lot of open questions such as: What to gift my beloved ones? Where to celebrate which day? What to wear? And of course: How to style my hair this year? Whilst I can’t help to answer the first two questions, I can definitely serve some answers for the last two. But today we’re going to focus on a Christmas Hairstyle together with my partner Dyson.
